Quinn Ewan McNeff was born 10 days ago on July 16, 2009 at 5:34 AM. He weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Everything went well. I was in labor for 23 hours, took the epidural as soon as I could (it's Heaven-sent!) and slept until I was dialated enough to push. Josh was too nervous to sleep, and played games on the computer all night long. I only had to push for about 40 minutes (the little goober kept sliding back in between contractions despite all the work I was doing). He sleeps pretty well, about 6 hours at night. And during the day I usually have to wake him up to eat. We had a hard time at first getting him to learn how to latch on, but now he's got it, and he's eating really well, to both mine and Josh's relief (the day after we took him home he was getting obviously dehydrated, and we got really worried because we couldn't get him to eat). I know, it's taken me a while to tell everyone, and update this, but I've sorta been stuck at home without the internet. Sorry! But here are some pictures of him for you all to look at.
