This is Josh, funny hair and all, enjoying our little celebration. I've always enjoyed holidays, and traditions, and doing fun little things for them. Last year, Josh told me about how his family loves St. Patrick's Day because they are Irish, and always do something fun for it. But last year, we were up at school, so I made him green pancakes. And that has sort of started a tradition for our little family. For lunch, I made green macaroni and cheese, pistachio pudding (that is naturally green), and a green salad. Oh, and we also had rootbeer for our drink, since that's about as Irish we can get to drinking... :)
Then for dinner, I made green pancakes to keep with our tradition, and added green eggs. It looked weird, but tasted really yummy! And that is supposed to be a pancake in the shape of a shamrock - in case you were wondering what I made Josh eat.
I was rather sad that no one could share it with us, I like to cook for people, and share holidays with people (even mundane silly ones like St Patrick's Day). I realized last night how much I miss our friends in Logan... But Josh and I had fun together. I just wish we could have shared it.
