Hey, Big Belly!

Okay, I finally gave in and took a pregnant belly picture... I am looking so fat... but whatev. Hope you all enjoy it. And sorry for the quality, we're still stuck using our phones as cameras, so it's not too good.

Also, As I mentioned in my last post, we've been helping my grandma in her yard. Here are some pictures you all probably don't really care about, but I'm pretty proud of. I did a lot of gardening, planting flowers, etc, to help my grandma's yard look pretty. You can't see it too well, but we put in an irrigation system in the garden in the back (and will in the others) so that all they have to do it turn on the water, and everything gets watered perfectly. I guess I'm so excited about these gardens because I really wanted to garden this year, and didn't have my own space. So I took over Grandma's. And, it's been getting really hard for me to do much, with my belly growing, and all my new aches and pains when I do too much... But I had fun! Again, poor quality pictures. Sorry!

Here, I planted an azalea bush to help balance the huge bleeding heart you see in the fenced area. Then some petunias, because Dave likes thouse, some snap dragons in the middle, and four bushes in the back, that will grow bigger over the years and really fill up the place and look nice.

Here they already had a bunch of things planted, but I added alyssum around the tree, planted some gardenia bulbs you can't see yet around the back on the top, and there'll be two rose bushes up there, too. The tulips and daffodils have already had their season, or else there'd be more to look at. But step gardens are fun, I think. Lots of ways to play with them!

And last, but not least (my favorite because there was nothing here to work around in the first place, so I got free range on it), I planted four pretty Wine and Rose Alexandrias, with white alyssum along the rocks. Simple, and very pretty. I feel bad you can't really see how good it looks. And ps, that's a veggie garden in the back along the fence.
