Bear Lake

Finally, Josh and I made it up to Bear Lake (only like a 40 minute ride) to do some summer playing. We invited one of our neighbor couples to come with us. It was really fun! We built "Boulder Castle" in the sand (Josh's first sand castle, if you can believe it! I couldn't until I realized he really didn't know what he was doing). Our neighbors brought some toys, so we set up a volleyball net in the water and played until we got too hungry to keep going. Then we had a fun little picnic I brought (hogi sandwiches) and got shakes in town and headed home before I got too worn out from being out in the sun. It was really a fun activity (Yes Bryan, this is a good activity). Josh noted that the water is MUCH clearer than Utah Lake, the beach is a real beach full of sand with no rocks.... Beautiful!

Sounds like you had a good time! We went to Yuba lake a few weeks ago for a night but the beaches were kind of rocky where we stayed and the wind was really bad so we couldn't go swimming. Plus we forgot the battery for our camera so we couldn't take pictures of Gideons first time camping. Oh well. Sounds like you guys had a lot more fun!
